Meme: Librarians and Teachers Unite - Making Collaboration Powerful
Target Audience:Classroom teachers, school librarians and administrators
Theme: When teachers and librarians collaborate, they can combine their knowledge and experience to make planning more powerful.
Based on the Texas Education Agency's SBEC School Librarians Standards and ALA-AASL Standards for Initial Preparations of School Librarians:
Standard 1. Learner-Centered Teaching and Learning: (3) model and promote collaborative planning, cooperative teaching, and direct instruction as determined by learners' needs and state curriculum standards (SBEC).
Standard 1: Teaching for Learning: 1.3 Instructional Partner: Candidates model, share, and promote effective principles of teaching and learning as collaborative partners with other educators (ALA-AASL).

Face to face feedback from coworkers - suggested I change the music to something a bit more upbeat and not quiet so monotone. Also thought pictures would help. They also suggested the addition of equal partnership and support to different areas when I asked them what they thought the most important aspects of collaboration were.
